Elongated is recommend where the strain relief has to pass through a thick wall or the applications just needs the extra thread length.

Our liquid tight fittings, seal your wires, cables, and enclosures to 300 feet underwater, we have several materials to choose from including; PVDF (for chemical and hi temp applications), nylon, stainless steel and brass for the food, corrosive or sea environment.
